Bernardo Sabadini's Teseo in Atene which was first performed in 1688 (ID 6409) revised Antonio Giannettini's Medea in Atene which was first performed in 1675 (ID 6405). Both works draw on Ovid and are therefore sequels to the Euripidean version.
