A music drama in one act (39 minutes), conceived as an introduction to Strauss' Elektra. The full score is dated April 1957. Text abridged and adapted by the composer from Blackie's Everyman translation. This - the work's first concert performance - was part of a 95th birthday concert for Havergal Brian.
