Harrison's libretto was drawn up for an opera commissioned by the New York Metropolitan Opera whch was left unfinished on the death of the composer Jacob Druckman. It was performed as a play in this production, together with passages by Valerie Solanis from the S.C.U.M. (Society for Cutting Up Men) Manifesto.
