Performance given under the auspices of the Classical Club. Advertisement in 'Alumnae News' for Hunter College states that: 'Euripides' "Iphigenia among the Taurians" will be presented. Mr. Witter Bynner has very kindly given the College free use of the translation which he made of this play for Isadora Duncan, and he has further offered several helpful hints, and promised to attend the performance without fail' (Vol. XXVI, 1921, No.8). A review in a later edition of the 'Alumnae News' states that Witter Bynner 'attended both performances of the tragedy, making a charming curtain-speech at the first one' (Vol. XXVII, 1922, No.2).
