APGRD Notes
A historical revue piece, described by The Times reviewer as "a quick change history of the theatre from Aristoteleian definitions to the present day. On the way we are presented with well-rehearsed crisp extracts from Lysistrata, Mother Courage, Godot, Pinero, Victorian melodrama Shakespeare, Chekhov, Coward, Restoration comedy, and Mr T. S. Eliot". The review does not record that a scene from Aeschylus was performed, despite the clue in the title of the show.
