APGRD Notes
Another production of this dramma per musica took place in Cremona in 1785 (Sartori ID 12733). Dramatis personae listed in the libretto for this production were Agamennone, Clitennestra, Ifigenia, Achille, Ulisse, Arcade. The libretto for this production is attributed to Serio, who originally wrote a libretto on Ifigenia in Aulide for Naples in 1779 (Production ID 10814). McClymonds questions this attribution on the basis that the list of Dramatis personae in Rossi's opera includes a part for Clitennestra: Serio’s version of the plot can be identified by the absence of Clytemnestra and the presence of Elisena, the 'other' Iphigenia, who dies instead of the heroine.
