APGRD Notes
This was the first ballet which was used as interval entertainment during the production of Francesco Antonelli Torres's opera Catone in Utica. It is likely that it drew on Euripides. The opera was staged in the honour of the Queen of Naples and the Prince of Asturias; it was dedicated to Ferdinand IV, the King of Naples. The second interval ballet was titled Gli amori di Mirtillo con Silvanzia.
