It is possbile that the production included music and dance. This was the second of the two 'scenical representations' staged by the Collegio de'Nobili Longone during the carnival season 1755 (between Christmas and Lent). It is likely that it drew on Euripides.

The second piece was titled Il Podestà di Malmantile.
