APGRD Notes
Libretto: L'apoteosi d'Ercole. Ballo eroico da rappresentarsi nel drama di Scipione nelle Spagne nel Regio-Ducal Teatro di Milano il carnovale del 1768 Composizione del sig. Favier (Milan: Giovanni Montani, 1768). This was the first of the three ballets used as interval entertainment during the production of Ferdinando Bertoni's opera Scipione nelle Spagne (Sartori ID 21300). It is likely that it drew either on Sophocles or Seneca. The other two interval ballets for the same production were titled Li molinari provenzali and Ballo di diverse nazioni.
