Dave Carey has been working with Chickenshed, an inclusive theatre company, since 1987 and has written much of Chickenshed’s professional output including the critically acclaimed As the mother of a brown boy... and Crime of the Century

Marco Martinelli is co-founder of Teatro delle Albe and has run community-theatre projects all over Europe, in the US, South America and Africa, involving amateur actors, school children, and young adults, using Aristophanes, Dante, and Cervantes.

On 1 November, Aristophanes' Peace will be performed at Chickenshed Theatre, marking the end of a week-long workshop, a collaboration between Chickenshed, UCL, Teatro delle Albe (Ravenna, Italy), and the Universities of Bristol and Parma.
