
Dr Mai Musié is an ancient historian and a public engagement specialist. Her research explores race and ethnicity in the ancient world. She combines academic rigour with her practical experience to enhance community engagement, outreach, and education. Mai has received numerous awards for her impactful public engagement projects; and has experience in the media through her tv, radio, and podcast appearances. She is the co-founder of Classics in Communities, a trustee of Classics for All, The Roman Society, and Actors of Dionysus, and a series editor for Women in Ancient Cultures, Liverpool University Press.
Mai is the co-editor (with Dr Arlene Holmes-Henderson and Steve Hunt) of the book Forward with Classics: Classical Languages in Schools and Communities.
