Giuseppe Pezzini

Professor Giuseppe Pezzini is Fellow in Classics at Corpus Christi College, after holding posts at St Andrews, Magdalen College Oxford, and the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. In 2010-2013 he worked as Assistant Editor for the Oxford Dictionary of Medieval Latin, and he is a founding member of the Oxford Tolkien Network. His main area of research is Latin Language and Literature, with a special focus on Early Latin and Roman Theatre. He has co-organised several seminars and conferences on Roman Comedy, including on the reception of Terence's Eunuchus (June 2022), the reception of Plautus' Stichus (June 2023), Terence’s Phormio (2024), and Theoretical Approaches to Terence (2024).
