Cécile Dudouyt is Assistant Professor at Université Sorbonne Paris Nord where she teaches French-English Translation and Translation Studies. Her research explores the reception of ancient drama in English and in French from the Renaissance to the Enlightenment. Since 2023, she coordinates the CHORUS network of researchers on the reception of ancient drama. 

Selected publications

Cécile is a co-editor of the Translating Ancient Greek Drama in Europe series with Giovanna Di Martino, Malika Bastin-Hammou, Lucy Jackson and Carla Suthren (at De Gruyter). She also translates contemporary theatre with Ezra Baudou (recently, Marina Carr's Hécube, Eclair-Powell's and Horsley's Dorian).
